Drying kilns have a lifespan of 20 or 30 years and often even longer. However, after this time, even if the mechanical components are still acceptable, the control system is obsolete and does not allow quality production.
In these cases we resort to revamping the control systems, as in this case at a historic customer in Romania.
The work begins with a technical analysis, which considers the vulnerability aspects of the system and the solutions that can be adopted. On the basis of this project, the electrical panels are revamped, replacing the old operating logics with Zoom’s advanced components.
Thanks to the great flexibility of Zoom, the control points are multiple (multi-user) and reachable from different devices.
The revamping of the control system entails a great advantage in economic terms, as the better management of the drying cycles generates significant energy and time savings.
