Baschild participated in the dual role of speaker and sponsor at the ECWM11, European Conference on Wood Modification, held from 15 to 16 April in the splendid setting of the S. Apollonia auditorium in Florence.
The eleventh edition of the most important European event dedicated to wood modification was organized by DAGRI of the University of Florence, by the Institute for Bioeconomy of the CNR and by SAFE of the University of Basilicata.
It was a two-day event full of ideas regarding thermo-modified wood, during which thermo-modification was the subject of studies and debates. Baschild presented a work focused on commercial products achieved from the thermo-modification plants of the ATK series, with the precious support of Albino Pozzi S.p.A., Sivalbp S.A. and Evolen d.o.o.
The hope is that the synergy between research and industry will lead to new frontiers of use for TMW in a context of sustainability and innovation.
